I used to think it did. I thought becoming a mom meant shrinking—your career, your identity, yourself. Nobody told me that the right support could change everything. Once I found the right nanny, I stopped just surviving and started feeling like me again. That shift was everything.
But getting there wasn't pretty. Before Hera Selene, I was $95,000 deep in the wrong hires, but settling, because I desperately needed help.
So I spent countless hours building my own system. When I finally found the right nanny, my friends started asking how. That's when I realized what I'd built for myself could work for other families too.
I spent years in cut-throat tech sales, then as COO at a eight-figure company. I also hold a Master's in Educational and Counseling Psychology. That background gave me two things: I know how to build a system, and I know how to find the right person.
That combination changed my life as a mom.
